This guide provides professional reference information for practitioners using Botulax 100U in aesthetic practice. All dosing decisions are ultimately the clinical responsibility of the treating practitioner, who must apply their training, patient assessment, and clinical judgement to determine appropriate doses for each individual patient.
Reconstitution
Botulax 100U is supplied as a vacuum-dried lyophilised powder. Reconstitute immediately before use with sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution. Common reconstitution volumes:
- 1ml saline → 10 units per 0.1ml
- 2ml saline → 5 units per 0.1ml
- 4ml saline → 2.5 units per 0.1ml
Reconstituted solution should be clear and colourless. Use within 4–6 hours of reconstitution. Do not freeze reconstituted product.
